This website ("Site") and service ("Service") is owned and maintained by Intra Research AB, Sweden (referred to hereafter as “Company”). This policy explains what information Company collects about Members of the Site and how we use this information. The Company member program is operated as a survey panel for individuals who voluntarily register on the Site ("Members"). The Member can participate at offered surveys connected to the service and operated by Company or third parties. Under certain conditions Members may be rewarded in gifts ("Gifts") for participating in certain activities such as completing surveys.
As part of Company’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability and the responsible stewardship of the personal data that we handle, our GDPR team has focused on identifying and addressing GDPR readiness priorities across Company’s diverse products and businesses. To accomplish this, the team developed and managed various work streams across all of Company’s business lines.
As such, the protection of personal data is a top priority for the Company as part of the Market Research industry and producer of information about people. Company is compliant with the guidance and requirements of the professional code of conduct applicable to registered market research companies (ICC/ESOMAR) and all current existing local regulations, especially as far as the protection of respondents’ data is concerned. Company took a proactive approach to ensure the safeguarding and protection of the personal data of its customers, respondents and employees. By the start of GDPR entered into force, Company managed to implement the GDPR requirements in all the European countries where it operates. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION Company only collects and stores such information that is: a. mandatory Member’s information during the registration process (email address, password, name, year of birth, gender, country) or b. information given voluntarily by you in response to specific information requests in your Member profile (Further profiling).
Company only collects information that is necessary for us to perform our business and provide the Service to you.
If you are eligible for a survey opportunity, the third party market research company will provide an identification number and a survey link to us and we will invite you to participate in the survey. If you have any questions about this data sharing please contact our support using our contact form.
With the exceptions listed above, we will not disclose your information to any third party without your permission unless such action is necessary to: a. Fulfill our obligations from the contract and provide the Service to you; b. Conform to legal requirements or comply with a legal procedure; We may access your account, including its contents, under the circumstances stated above or for the purpose of responding to Service inquiries or resolving technical problems.
We implement multi-layered organizational, technical and administrative measures that are designed to protect the personal data under our control. These include, among other things: limiting access to data; using technology measures like firewalls, encryption, malware protection and intrusion detection; maintaining policies that are aligned to a wide variety of legal requirements; and holding our associates accountable for maintaining safe data-handling practices and adhering to our internal policies. We have a global organization of qualified data security professionals and engage in regular system testing and updating of our controls to keep pace with changing technology and security threats.
USE OF OTHER INFORMATION
Company may create general aggregate data (such as age groups, interest profiles, geographic regions and other non-identifying information) about our Members and make it available to existing and potential advertisers, business partners and investors. This aggregate data never contains specific identifiable information about any individual user.
IP Address – Company’s servers automatically record the first block of your IP address, your browser type and operating system when you access our site. We may use this information to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our web site and compile aggregate user information for our advertisers.
We can use browser cookies to the extent that it is needed for survey and quality assurance purposes. We will not record the entire Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device, but we will use it to determine the approximate geographic location to make sure that answers to survey questions are obtained from the desired markets. We collect anonymous information about your device's operating system and web browser to improve your user experience.
ACCESS & CORRECTION
Information collected by Company can be accessed and updated by the Member by using the facility provided on the Site (you will be required to log in first). Furthermore you can contact Company’s Support anytime and ask for any stored information concerning you. You can easily request deletion of your information by opting-out as described below.
All email communications that result from your membership on the company’s website will be sent directly from us and will prominently feature the Company’s logo and our contact details. After completing a given survey, you may experience a gap of some number of days or weeks before another survey invitation is offered. While every attempt is made to send each Member survey invitations frequently, due to various factors, a given Member may not receive as many invitations to participate in surveys as they would like. Note that Company is under no obligation to offer any specific or minimum number of survey invitations whatsoever.
As a condition of membership, you must provide a valid email address and agree to accept survey invitations from us. If you do not wish to receive survey invitations from us, you must terminate your membership using the facility provided in the profile.
In the event that you opt-out it may take up to 72 hours for your opt-out request to take effect. You will not receive any further email promotions from us after that time. We provide clear notice about what data we collect and how we use it. We offer choices about our data collection at a time and in a context that reflect the sensitivity of the data being collected. Panelists and survey respondents agree to the collection and processing of their data and may withdraw their participation at any time. Individuals also have the ability to demand deleting all the information from Company’s server.
